Infectious looped guitar riffs and poly-rhythm drum cadences force their way from your ears into your hands and feet as you fall prey to the intricate melodies that Giraffes? Giraffes! bang away on their instruments.

Giraffes? Giraffes! belong to a distinct and complicated music sub-genre of rock referred to as math-rock. Math-rock is a descendant of indie music, post-hardcore, and contemporary minimalist composers. The music is defined by atypical rhythmic structures, dissonant chords, and odd time signatures. Its chief influencers are King Crimson, Steve Reich, and Black Flag. Meanwhile, popular math-rock artists include the likes of This Town Needs Guns, Mouse on the Keys, and Tera Melos.
Giraffes? Giraffes! is a math-rock duo from Massachusetts. Guitarist Joseph Andreoli and Drummer Ken Topham have been playing together since 2001, and their first release, SUPERBASS!!!!, dropping in 2005.
Hug of Death is the first single off their upcoming album, Memory Lame. Catch Giraffes? Giraffes! on tour with Mylets this summer!
